So, I have a lot to catch up on. Friday night, I went to Ben’s house for his family’s Christmas party/his birthday party. I had so so so much fun! I took those mock thin mints to the party, and everybody loved them! I got to meet some of Ben’s friends, and I got to take a tour of about a third of the house. It was so beautiful all lit up. We played quarter bingo, and I won about five dollars in quarters. It was a very competitive bingo game. We also played Pictionary. That was interesting. Saturday, I had fun with some of my friends. We went to Starbucks, and watched “A Walk to Remember” at my house. Kathryn and Erin cried like babies. haha! Yesterday was Christmas Eve of course. We opened presents with Mom’s side of the family. I got a whole bunch of horsey stuff, and a new breastcollar for Sky pony. Today was CHRISTMAS!!! Santa came of course!!! This was Mitchell’s first year not believing in Santa, so that was interesting. We got a bunch of really neat stuff. I got a ginormous bulletin/dry erase board, which was a good thing because every square millimeter of my little old one was filled with little memories. I got some cute slippers, a couple CDs and movies, a whole stack of books, and a cozy Hello Kitty blanket and pillow. Around lunch, we went to Aunt Sandi’s (dad’s side of the family) for our annual Christmas brunch and had fun. I went with Tanner and Alyssa on a Starbucks run for the adults, and we were the car that everyone stared at because the bass was booming. I had never experienced that before, haha! We watched a whole bunch of old home videos, and opened gifts. I am currently home…in my pajamas…being lazy and finding homes for everything in my room.

The Best Birthday EVER! …and a spontaneous day with Evan.
So, my birthday was on Wednesday, and I would have to say that it was probably the best one I ever had. It was just so much fun! (yes, even though we were at school) I came to school like normal, homeroom was normal, but Biology was not. In biology, I was sung to. Kaitlyn, Kendall, Evan, and Taylor most definitely sang to me. Then, Kaitlyn gave me the Phantom of the Opera book with a daisy taped to the top that I wore behind my ear for the rest of the day. The note inside pretty much made me cry. Evan gave me a ginormous jar of peanut butter, and her note almost made me cry. Then, we dissected pigs (what a great birthday present, right?) and that was pretty much fun. We watched “Jane Eyre” in Lit, but the real fun didn’t come until drama. Kendall brought this mini birthday cake, and those extremely long sparkler candles, but we did not figure out they sparked until we almost caught the sanctuary on fire with them. It was great fun, let me tell you. We got into a mini icing war, and stained our faces. That was fun too. throughout the rest of the day, everything just went perfectly. Then, on Thursday, we had a half day at school, and I went home with Evan. It was cold and rainy, and spontanaeity was in the air. We walked to Eckerd, tooled around for about a half hour, then used the crosswalk to get across 41 to Publix. We bought a bunch of cookie making stuff, and I pushed Evan in the shopping cart. Then, we really had to go to the bathroom, so we went to Subway and decided that it was rude to use their restroom and not buy food, so we split a footlong sub. We just laughed and laughed. It was great!. I hadn’t had a day like that with Evan in a very long time. After all that fun, we walked back to Eckerd in the rain, and got Jordyn to pick us up and take us back home. There, we made a bunch of really great cookies! They were quite amazing if I do say so myself. We made mock thin mints, big heart sugar cookies with sugar sprinkles, and little people sugar cookies that were absolutely adorable. Well, that’s all I really have time to type, but I’ll have to finish later on.

Two More!
Two more exams to go before Christmas Break. Then, I will be finished with Miller, Mroczko, and Harvey. Spring is going to be a breeze. Algebra 2, Art, Psychology, Bible, Spanish. It doesn’t get much better than that! On a different note, it was FREEZING COLD today! I thought my blood might freeze, but then I figured out that as long as I’m living and it’s flowing, that can’t exactly happen as easily as I thought it could. Oh, we are almost finished with our electric vehicle for science team. Yay science. we just have to wire it up and experiment with string lengths so we can get it to go the right distance. It’s going to be quite amazing. I think that Kaitlyn and I (along with maybe a smidge of help from Mr.Harvey) have done an excellent job! I’m pretty excited to see how it will turn out!

It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
Everywhere I go. Well, it is almost Christmas! Only 10 more days! Oh, and 4 ish days until my birthday. My life has been rather exciting over the past week. It’s been studying for exams, tying up loose ends, and getting ready for this wonderful holiday. All of Mom’s side of the family came over last night for our annual dirty Santa bingo game. I actually ended up with some useful stuff this year instead of sheep statues and singing animals. Yes, I have ended up with those things before. That is why the concept of regifting is so wonderful. Just kidding. Well, I entertained little Hannah. We made Christmas cards for her friends, and played with her dolls. Today I got to go to the barn. And, I came home and made cookies. It took me about 3 hours just to make 20 cookies, and they are absolutely adorable! Tomorrow is church who knows where, and a mini sort of church reunion. Our monthly thing. I just got finished bathing the dogs, and it was an experience. Of course, since it was raining, cold, and dark outside, I had to bathe them inside. the hardest part was luring them into the tub. We picked Buckley up, but i tried everything with Daisy. I rolled up my jeans and stepped in there with a piece of ham. I sang a song. “I’m singing, in the tub, with a piece of ham…come and get it Daisy.” like on Elf. Yeah, she didn’t go for it. We had to drag her in. haha. Well, I’m going to go get a shower and get on into bed so I’ll have the energy to be mischievous tomorrow.

Magical Mind Powers
So, I went to the homecoming games on Friday night, and they were INTENSE! We played the Sonoraville Phoenix. Sadly, both the girls and guys lost. Near the end of the guys’ game, the other team was getting to take foul shot after foul shot. Ben looks at me and simply says, “Madi, use your magical mind powers to keep them from making it!” I said, “Whatever you say Ben.”And, they didn’t make another foul shot! haha! So now he is convinced that I truly have magical mind powers. After the game, Kathryn’s mom took Kathryn, Evan, Erin, and me to Erin’s house. While Erin was in the shower, the rest of us made some peanut butter sandwiches and some quesadillas. Needless to say, she was dumbfounded when she walked into the kitchen to find us cooking on her stove at 10 o clock at night! We all ended up in the same bed that night. (Not sure how or why) It was kind of like the big heap of giggling girls saying things like, “Don’t move your left pinky because it’s in my ear.” It was pretty funny. I ended up freezing at the foot of the bed, and woke up sniffling. We went to YL on Saturday morning at GA Power. As I wrote on the comment sheet, it was, “Itriguing.” There is so much that goes into making electricity. We got to take a tour of the plant (complete with hardhats, goggles, and earplugs). It was probably over 100 degrees in there. It was HOT! After YL, I went to the Christmas party at the barn. Actually, I missed the party part, and just decorated Sky’s stall for Christmas! Mom and I went to Goody’s and Famous Footwear, and I ended up going to Katt’s house last night after all that jazz. We watche POTC 3. Well, she watched it, I mainly slept through it. That ending still made me cry. It probably always will. This morning, everybody went to church at First Baptist Cartersville. It was way different that anything else I had been to. We came home (my home this time) and I made Amish Friendship Bread and played basketball and baseball with Mitch. And, I am currently getting ready to go to FBCW tonight. It supposed to be awesome!

Mhmm…
Yep, I’ve definitely officially switched from blogspot to here. This is so much easier to use. Well, this week is spirit week at school…yay spirit! Monday was PJ day, Tuesday was twin day, today was sports team day, tomorrow is beach day (and it’s freezing cold), and Friday is school spirit day. It’s been fun, but we haven’t accomplished much school-wise this week.
Today, Bible class was so extremely worthwhile. Mr.Samples has been doing our Bible class, and it’s been really great. Today we did an overview of the book of Jonah, and he brought up a very important point. When it comes to unsaved people, do you have the love of Jonah, or the love of God? You could tell that question made everyone really stop and think. Jonah did not have God’s kind of love toward the lost people on Ninevah. He really could have cared less about their salvation, but we know that God was serious about it. He always is. There are so many people in this world that say to themselves, “It’s not my job to tell these lost people about the love of God, it’s their own fault that they don’t believe.” That is so not the mindset that God wants us to have. He commands us to have compassion on the lost people, as well as people different than us. That is such an important thing to understand.
On a different note, the Miller test went pretty well today. It wasn’t all that hard, and my essay was quite lovely if I do say so myself. It took me forever to write it, so I better get a good grade! haha! We’re doing the Christmas skit in chapel tomorrow….3 times! Yep…And I am trying to decide whether to go to the homecoming game or the McKenna Christmas party on Friday night. Saturday we have YL, I have the TRF Christmas party, and I’m not going to the dance, so I think I’m doing something with Katt that night. My birthday is in 14 days! I suppose I’m a little bit excited. Oh, totally random thought! Me, Bree, and Blankenbrain are going to go caroling sometime soon. That should be fun! What else, what else….I guess that’s just about all that’s on my mind.

Suprise!!!
So, Sunday night I went to Alabama for a “bridal shower” for my aunts neighbor who I’ve grown up with. Mom and I opened the door to the house, walked in, and all my family (Mom and Dad’s side) was there. Yep “Suprise!” I had a suprise sweet stixteen! I was shocked to say the least, and kind of nervous, as I always am in a large group of people and I’m the center of attention. Being the center of attention is not my thing. But, I was with the people I love. The biggest suprise of all was, I got a car. Yep, a ‘98 little red Ford Explorer complete with a POTC antenna topper. How cute! The funny part is, I’ve been driving it for quite some time now thinking that it was on loan, when, in all reality, it was mine. I am quite ready to get my license now. haha. Well, I have a history test to study for. Gotta get that 100 that I want oh so badly on a test in that class.

Inside Out
So, I came back from the Revolve tour today, and it was absolutely AMAZING, as always. It was different this year. The theme was “Inside Out.” It was mainly about developing good relationships with those around you. There was a great group of people this year: Natalie Grant, KJ52, Hawk Nelson, Aiyesha Woods (sp?), Chad Eastham, Rachael something, and Jenna Lucado. Oh, and Nicole C. Mullen made a special guest appearance just for Atlanta. It was quite amazing. I learned so much, and had a great time with Hannah and Courtney. Well, right when we got home, we had to go to the Barnette’s house for a Christmas/Madi and Matt’s 16th birthday party. It was lots of fun. I played hide and seek with the twins, and Katie never came to find us. And, Ms.Laura gave me some great advice on cookie making and hat knitting. I have some work to do before Christmas. haha. Well, I might ellaborate on these experiences later tomorrow, but I am all tuckered out right now, so I’m gonna head on to bed.
